Dougla Kitchen is the most personal concept from James Beard Award–winning Chef Andrew Black—a love letter to his grandmother, Elysabeth Bandoo, his heritage, and the cultures that shaped him. Rooted in Caribbean and Indo-Caribbean traditions, Dougla brings together bold flavors, soulful stories, and heartfelt hospitality through dishes such as whole-roasted jerk chicken, oxtail, smoked octopus ceviche, and fish, complemented by a full bar and the largest rum selection in Oklahoma.
"Dougla" is a Caribbean term for mixed cultural heritage, rooted in the rich history throughout the Caribbean. For Chef Black, that intersection of cultures is deeply personal. Dougla Kitchen celebrates it through the ingredients, spices, techniques, and stories passed from one generation to the next in creating a dining experience centered on food, family, culture, and the joy of gathering around the table.
